Roger was born in Switzerland and raised in Portugal, where he graduated from the University of Lisbon, with a Masters Degree focused on studying the impact of the smile in beauty perceptions and published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. Soon after graduating, he moved to Scotland in pursuit of new challenges for his professional career, where he has now been living and working since 2015.

Believing that a healthy smile plays a significant role in an individual’s mental wellbeing, Roger takes great care to explain to patients what options are available to them, and what results they can expect, helping people feel more comfortable and in control of their dental treatments.

Recognising that many people struggle with anxiety when sitting on a dentist’s chair, Roger strives to provide the utmost quality in care and treatment. He’s also happy to see patients that require more complex tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth, or those who’ve been struggling with gum disease, aiding them in achieving long-term gum health.

With detailed planning, he will return your confident smile, and help you feel at ease during the entire treatment.

When not working you will find him with his 2 black cats and his artist husband playing videogames or going up a hill somewhere in Scotland.
